Master Roshi Unleashes the Mafuba in New Dragon Ball Super Illustration by Toyotaro

Illustration of Master Roshi (Turtle Hermit) by Toyotaro, the mangaka of “Dragon Ball Super,” was revealed in a special project in V Jump magazine.
The illustration features Master Roshi using the “Mafuba” (Evil Containment Wave) technique, which he used against Goku in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
This technique was previously only used against Goku’s adoptive grandfather, Grandpa Gohan.
“Dragon Ball Super” Volume 24 is currently on sale.
A special interview with Toyotaro conducted by Morning Musume ’25’s Maria Makino is available to commemorate the release of the new volume.
